Leaked Kindle photos - Fake?
Edit: Nope, I'm wrong.

I think the recently leaked pictures are fakes. It took me a while to come to this conclusion.

The keyboard is what made up my mind. Speaking as someone who has a number of handheld devices, I don't think that the keyboard shown in the pictures is plausible. If you try to hold it and type (as shown in the photos), the device will tip out of your hands. It is simply too top heavy.

So, let's wait an hour and see if I am right.

It looks like someone took a Kindle 2 image and distorted it by overstretching it vertically.

Those buttons look like they're not made to be used by normal fingers (you'll probably need your kid/nephew/niece/grandkid/any kid from the street to push it...) and it's ugly...

So, I agree with vivaldirules, it's real...

I think the keyboard is real. Why would someone paste in a fake keyboard with only three rows when the K1 and K2 both have four rows of keys? The keys may be slightly larger and easier to press than on the K2; that would help with the balancing problem.

I say the screen doesn't look to be 9,7 or 10.1 inches... Although looks bigger than 8in... I'm more inclined to say it's not real.

not real the screen look like it was just elongated which would not help with a lot graphical rendering of plans. i don't know what i saying today (brain not working lol) but i do know i think it's not real!!!!!1

If it's rarely used, then why include it? Back when my Kindle was my main ebook reader, I used the keyboard all the time.
