Moto Q details unveiled on Motorola's website

Props to Sammy for totally rescuing a slow news day by pointing us to Motorola's official website, which now displays the Moto Q in all its beauty. The question is how to endure the wait before I can get my hands on one of these babies and ditch my current brick.

It's not a coincidence that last Friday Motorola's shares pushed to a new 52-week high, finishing at $21.18, up a tidy 71 percent from their 52-week low of $12.37.

Hey Alexander. I thought you liked your brick. Some would say there's nothing like a touch-type (almost) keyboard. But if someone were in the market for a Microsoft Treo, this would have to be it.

I like that it's this thin, but I'm not sure of this storage media; mini-SD, isn't it only available in sizes up to 128MB? And, if it's the size of a fingernail clipping, wouldn't it likely get lost pretty soon? I guess I never thought I'd see the day when normal sized SD was "too big" for mobile devices.

Also, what's this "RAZRWIRE Bluetooth eyewear" compatibility thing? Glasses that let you view your screen? Probably not, but it would be cool to stream your PDA's content to your eyewear, especially if it had those Oakley mp3 earbuds so you could hear your PDA, too. OK, it's a smidge on the "extra geeky", but it's a slow news day, right?

Incidentally, it's "props" and not "probs." It's an Ebonics thing.

OoOh. Tres Razr-esque.

Speaking of the Razr, I ditched my brick recently and picked up a Razr. I'm very much still into the "I'm not paying for a phone" ideal, otherwise, I woulda waited for this lil number.

The Moto Q looks like a fine device for the bizness crowd to replace Blackberries with -- and I support that 100%.
