Going to live in China

I now live in Toronto and am going to teach in China. Do you have advice about which ebook reader I should get and suggestions about where to buy one?

Jinke is headquartered in Tianjin, China. I don't know if this is any particular advantage if you buy in Canada though. They make the Hanlin V3 which is most often bought in North America via mail order either as the Astak EZ Reader (from the US) or the BeBook (from Europe).

Buying Hanlin in China will likely be more expensive that ordering one from BeBook or Astak or other vendor. Something to do with taxes, apparently.

If you like foxit eslick, you can buy eslick in China with slightly less shipping charge -- $2.5 instead of $10(although their website said $10 to China, actually they can ship from Fuzhou, China).

I guess living in china or somewhere else has nothing to do with which reader to buy, it depends on what you need/like. If you need to read docs in Chinese in your reader, then buy a Hanlin V3 in china is certainly better because it supports Chinese character natively. For others like Sony 505, minor hack action would be needed in this case.
