Podcasts on your handheld (how-to)
Brighthand (via PalmAddicts) has a quick write-up explaining newbies how they can listen to podcasts on their handhelds. Basically you pick a feed client that also supports podcasts enclosures; Brighthand recommends QuickNews (Palm OS) and FeederReader (Pocket PC).

You can also use your desktop podcatching application. I use iPodder.
Setup iPodder to retrieve your podcasts. Instead of saving your podcasts to your computer, use your Tungsten 5 or LifeDrive's drive mode and point iPodder to your handheld. You can also use Card Export II to do the same thing with other Palm OS (and Pocket PC) devices. Then use your handheld's audio player to listen to your podcasts. Brian |

On pocketpc, I use MOBSync to sync my ipodder directory with a directory on my SD card every activesync. Then once or twice a day I will activesync via wifi, so no need to remove the SD card. Works wonderfully!

Ok I feel so out of it...HOW do you get 1SRC as a podcast?
Isn't a podcast just an audio that someone records and then posts on the net??? |

Yes, a podcast is an audio available on the net. You can download or subscribe to the 1src podcast at 1src.com. There's a new one every week. You will need ipodder or similar app if you want to have subscriptions download automatically. See tutorials referenced above.
