Shenzhen is a little fishing village that grew into the richest city in China (16% growth for years and years) and is now the biggest exporter (ipod, iphone mac, all the big game platforms) and the official test tube of Chinese development. Is the boom over, well I hope so, I'm sick of arguing with my bosses for 15% pay rises each year. They are too, it seems, as last year I was offered a 33% rise and rejected it for a job that paid less but offered more increases each year. Think about making 280,000 a year where a drink cost 2 and a shirt 30 and a big 47inch flat screen HD for 6000. That's the boomtown Shenzhen. Rehab
