Hello, I'm LaitSabr

Greetings from Seattle! I've been a stealth visitor for a while prior to registering, and am enjoying the articles, posts and books. I have a PRS-505 which has become part of my nightly reading ritual before sleep.
I am partial to Sci-Fi, and one of my favorite books is "Course of Empire" by Eric Flint (Baen Books).
I have had positive experiences so far, thanks to the shared information and guidance provided on this site.
Prior to the PRS-505, I was doing my reading on my PalmPilot, then Palm m500, then m505, and the Clie PEG-NX70V.
Having worked in Japan for almost 15 years, reading on those small devices made the daily long train commutes easier to bear.
Thank you for allowing me into this community!

Welcome to mobileread, laitsabre.

Lots of great Sci Fi here from some great authors, including current ones.

Enjoy the forums.

Hi LaitSabr and welcome to MobileRead.

I liked 1632". Do you think "Course of Empire" is a better read?

Thanks for the welcome!
I liked "1632" too, and its sequel. However "The Course of Empire" just gets me caught up each time I read it (my reason for late nights) :-) Eric Flint, David Weber, Mercedes Lackey, they are among my favorites for reads and re-reads. Finding the Baen books greatly enlarged my repertoire of favorite ebooks.
