Digital Editions Errors

Is anyone else having problems with Digital Editions software? I have downloaded several books from my local library and when I try to access books in DE this is what I get:
Adobe DRM Error
System: 8
State: 4
Class: 66
Code: 77
Message:

VE error 77
--- end ---

I can't read any of my books, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! I have submitted a report to Adobe customer support but am not sure after all I've read about them that they will be helpful.

Finally figured this one out. My Shield Deluxe was stopping the proper updates. Now the book is there but when I try to drag and drop to the reader I get the error message that the book can't be transferred because its authorized to another user. I am the only user. I have my computer and my reader authorized and my DE authorized all using the same ID. Now what?

Try re-authorizing your reader, or remove the DRM.

Have you tried downloading the books again?
