K2 Cover

For those that bought the amazon leather cover, how is it? There are now so many K2 threads I can't seem to find any detailed comments on it. It looks pretty nice from the Amazon site, but is it good quality leather, are the clips effective in securing the K2 to the cover?

The clips hold it tight (and much cleaner looking than ugly corner straps IMO). It's not going anywhere the way it's held in there. The leather is decent quality, I'm sure nothing like the quality of the $80-$100 cases, but just fine IMO.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the quality for $30.

Does it have that genuine leather smell?

Yes, it smells sort-of like leather. Not the intense leather smell, but good enough! And yes, the case is very good. I'd say it hold the Kindle 2 around 95% tight, as it still has a little movement in the clips. And I have two Kindle 2s with 2 leather cases, so I'd say this is normal...
