What does the delete button do?

I noticed there is a delete key on the side of the cybook. It looks like a delete button There's a picture of a trash can on it, but it doesn't actually seem to do anything. I press it, the light goes green, but nothing else happens. I've tried it from the library view and while browsing a book without any results.

Yes, I was always annoyed by those. I wanted them to say "This page left intentionally blank other than this text"

That's weird. Make a button and not have it do anything. Oh well, I'll just have to live with it I suppose.

I guess it was just "there" in the Netronix hardware that Bookeen use, and they just didn't get around to finding a use for it. It sure would be nice to be able to delete books from the library with it!

Despite the button having a delete symbol and there not already being a delete function on the device, they couldn't for the life of them find a useful function for it

in some future world and perhaps as early as the next firmware upgrade - you never know ....

And if they didn't want to implement delete they could have put dictionary lookup there.

Oh YES, please..........Put dictionary lookup there......

Lets hope for formatable (is that an English word ???) buttons in the next firmware.
My guess at that happening is slim to none though
