here we only have the default logo as well, i guess Dr. Seuss is only commemorated in his own country. he was an author of really great children's books like Fox in Socks, the Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham.

Excellent! I remember reading a biography of Raymond Chandler and he and Seuss used to spend afternoons together drinking in a Los Angeles bar. Would have loved to hear what those conversations were like

I only read Dutch children books, we had/have some great children book writers over here... (the only foreign writers I can think off are Roald Dahl and Michael Ende)

I read Dr. Seuss to my daughter almost every night. There are so many good ones. Right now, she's into Horton Hears a Who and Horton Hatches the Egg -- previous favorite was Sleep Book, but they're pretty much all awesome.
