Yes I d/l the manual and working through the features
I am learning as I go. I bought the kindle to use as a bible reader. I did notice that it does not keep book and chapter headings on the screen and you can switch chapters and not realize unless you look closely at the verse numbers. A little annoying but I will get used to it.

There is no reason it couldn't do that, but the ebook in use would have to be designed that way (which may be more of a pain than would be pleasant.)

Surprisingly, there are not a whole lot of Bible translations available on the Kindle.
