eflybook please help before i bid

I searched everywhere but couldn't find the answer...is the eflybook the same as iliad version one or version two? From what I can tell the eflybook has the exact same stats as the irex iliad...

also has anyone bought the eflybook and had any problems with it? does it have the same functionality overall as the iliad...from what I've read it does, but i'm just making sure before i spend 400

by the way i bought and returned a kindle 2 last week, I can't believe people actually pay almost 400 when it offers pretty much no personal document functionality...I found it extremely frustrating...

well i bought it, the seller said it was the same as the iliad v2, hopefully he was right...although the only other source i could find said all eflybooks are v1...oh well i can deal with slightly shorter battery life for 300 bucks cheaper

AFAIK its v1, I guess the bigger issue is the non flat backplane than the battery life. If you buy used devices you have eitherway to accept you buy a used battery ...

well i bought it new...hopefully i won't have problems, i really wanted a new iliad irex 2 or a used digital reader, but to me spending more than 400 isn't logical right now...i mean the plastic logic reader will be out next year, and is supposed to be the holey grail of readers....

I will be on this site next week tryin to get all the 3rd party apps on my new reader when it gets here next week! thanks for the help

I thought the eflybooks were more expensive than basic iLiads? Has that changed (I haven't looked in a long time)?

I got one new in an unopened box for 460 on ebay...I don't think anyone really knew what it was, and I get the idea the whole reader for flight documentation died...I'll just be using it as a reader only, probably take off the flight stuff...I'll be mainly using this for all my medical texts so I don't carry around 50 five lbs books

(even though ironically i have my pilot liscense, but I can't imagine fumbling with electronic documents would be easier than carrying one piece of paper which is usually all i need when i fly)
