Greetings from Alaska

Hello all, I'm a short-time lurker and first-time commenter. A little bit about me:

I live in Anchorage Alaska
28 year old guy
have a pet Shih-Tzu named Chi-chi
breed and raise tropical fresh water fish
avid reader (obviously) mostly Fantasy and Science Fiction
my favorite hobby other than reading is photography

I've only been reading these forums for two or so weeks (but I have to say I'm loving this place), and I have only owned my 505 for a little under a month, it was my Christmas present to myself this year! As far as electronic gadgets go my Reader is probably already one of the best things I've ever owned. Aside from my computer and phone it will likely be my most used 'toy' ever.

I'm a little bit obsessive when it comes to gadgets, I just HAVE to own all the accessories that are created for it, even though I sometimes kick myself later for wasting money on things I rarely use. I already own the Sony LightWedge cover and so-called "Titanium" hard cover tin case. A week ago I ordered the Soft Feel Silicone Case from Proporta.

I'm currently working on a custom cover for use when the Proporta 'skin' arrives since I know the Reader won't fit into my current official cases once it is encased in the silicone - I hope to make a thread with photos soon to share with everyone.

Hi Exer and welcome to the Forum. I got a 505 back in January and like it a lot. Problem is the damn this gets addictive! Hmmm, hang on, maybe that's the idea. Sure hope so.

. My great Aunt lives up in Alaska and she spend most of her winter traveling. I cant wait to get my PRS-505. I have fun playing with your Prs-505
