Which One...
Hi,
I am looking to get an eBook Reader. I have been researching for the last few weeks, and can not decide which one to get. Here are the main things I am looking for. -Ability to write notes -Ergonomic Buttons -Decent Size Screen -Large Format Support -Decent Battery Life -Under $600 -Large Community Support I think that's about it. Looking forward to hear what you guys think. Thanks, Jake B. |

Your requirement to "write notes" leaves you with only one choice: the iRex devices.

Do they work well enough for daily usage? I've seen some very positive things, but also some very negative things. Also is there any difference between the BE Edition and the 2nd edition, besides increased battery life and WiFi?
And finally, does anyone know if there is a release date set for the Onyx Boox? Or a price? Thanks, Jake B. |

The Kindle can type notes.
The iLiad Book and 2nd Editions are identical except for appearance and WiFi. They have the same battery life. There are apparently some 6" devices with scribbling capability in the pipeline, but it is currently unknown how they will handle notes. See for example the Mentor Intrique Plus in First glance at Astak's Mentor line. |
