Axim x30 playlist?

Sorry. I'm a newby. How the heck do you create playlist using media from an SD card. I use the ms media player 10 that came with it.

I may be stupid, but I could not get a playlist built either, so you're not alone in finding it difficult. I read the help files and went to the MS site, and nothing on building playlists.

I was exited when I recently upgraded my ROM to get the new WMP10 (which you are using), but personally, I don't like it any better than the old version, and I find that other commercial and free mp3 players offer much more in terms of:

- sound control (equalizer and other effects);
- playlist editing; and
- skins (to make it look different ways).

The only thing I like about the WMP 10 is that it plays video, but other free players also do that as well or better.

One of the best commercial mp3 players is PocketMusic (below). There is a free basic version and a pro version you must pay to get.

Commercial software aside, the player I use now is MortPlayer, a free skinnable player with loads of versatility. Aside from the sound control and skins (which you can customize if you wish), is the emphasis on BIG BUTTONS, so you can just pick up the thing and get music playing without having to deal with the stylus. Below is the site. It's german, but he has an english page, just follow the links. Attached is a screenshot of my player, using a skin I developed and which is also posted on his site.

Another good free player which I've tried is GS Player, below.
