Searching for empty tags
Is it possible to run a query which returns all books with no tag set
I tried tag:"" but that doesn't work. Ta |

Any reason why you cannot use the GUI? Simply sorting on the tag column will bring to the top all those entries without tags.

You can only sort on one field, I want it sorted by author, but want to filter out the tagged books so I can go through and set tags on the ones that don't have them.
I've got round it my categorizing all my tags: genres start with a ! and info tags such as collection, short story etc start with a #. This has the double benefit that it separates tags and series on the reader, and allows me to filter out tagged books with not tag:! as all my books will (eventually) have a genre on them |
