Here’s an epub of The History of Henry Esmond, Esq. by W.M. Thackeray, first published in 1852. I have fully proofed the text against the second edition, Smith, Elder & Co., 1858, and corrected hundreds of mistakes and variants. There weren’t any illustrations originally, so I used the 75 illustrations by George du Maurier from The Works of W.M. Thackeray, Vol. VII, 1879.
