Word Count?

Is there anyway to get added to the sorted list of books the approximate word count of the book?

I know that with books from Project Gutenberg that a count would pick up the licensing stuff, and I know with some books it would pick up the preview chapters of other novels if so included. But it would be cool to be able to know approximate word count.

I don't know if this already exists as an extension.

The Count Pages plugin. Counts words too.

Calibre also has a word count in the Reports screen.
I delete all the previews and reviews and other advertising, so it is not in my count.
As for the other items like copyright, authors bio, dedication, it is only minimal so not really a concern for me.

First image is the total word count. Second image is word count per xhtml file and third image is word count transposed into the library list.
