K5 NT unregistered jailbreak?

hi! recently have attained a kindle 5 non touch but have been unable to register it at all, meaning the jail break i was planning to use wont work anymore.

Ive been told about language break on an unregistered kindle, but whilst skimming through the instructions it requires a touch gesture which obviously wont work on mine

is there any other jailbreaks i am unnaware of? or anyway to fix it being unable to register? im not the most knowledgeable when it comes to these things - any help would be much appreciated <3

When you register, use the one time password as your account password when you log in.

Ive tried that several times - when i sign in with my amazon account, i get the otp and then as soon as i try to either enter that as my password or attach it to the end of my password, i get a "kindle is unable to connect at this time" message - which i know isnt my wifi as it connects enough to send the otp but also i can load webpages in the browser </3

What firmware version is it on? You'll need to get the firmware updated if it's not the latest. You'll have use the K4 jailbreak and the 2025 DevCerts as it's far too old for LanguageBreak. If you can't get it registered then it'll break when it goes on wifi unless you block it talking to Amazon.

its 4.1.4, and i attempted to update again just to make sure. I have been playing around with it today and i did end up managing to jailbreak it unregistered, however whilst trying to install kual and koreader i was unable to get it to show up in my library. would you happen to know if there are any more detailed guides to get them working?
