Jailbroken kindle touch failed to update

So I tried to use kual after jailbreaking my kindle with the latest dev cert. Someone suggested I need the the firmware 5.3.7 for Kual to work. As of now im only getting "This item is not signed by an authorised developer. Please contact the developer."

I've tried to update my firmware but im getting error 006. I can't figure out why though looking at the logs it looks like gibberish to me.

My question:
1. Do I need 5.3.7 firmware for KUAL to work?
2. What should I do to fix the error 006?

At a loss here. Right now my kindle touch is stuck at firmware 5.1.2
