Kobo EPUB 3 (Adobe DRM) on Kindle?

I have a jailbroken Kindle Paperwhite 7th Gen with all my Kindle books deDRM'd using Calibre 8.15.0 and deDRM 10.0.9.

I recently found an eBook I have been looking for for a long time on Rakuten kobo and it says it's an EPUB 3 (Adobe DRM). Obviously, the easiest way would be to get this book from Amazon, but I couldn't find it there in digital form.

Can I just buy it from the Kobo store, download and run it through deDRM in Calibre? Or would I need a Kobo device, so I get a serial number I can enter in deDRM?

It says I can also use it in a Kobo app on my computer or iPhone. Would I get a serial number in there as well which I could use with deDRM?

You can buy the book on Kobo, download it and remove DRM if needed. The ACSM (aka DeACSM) plugin allows you to import the .acsm file directly into calibre without need ADE as an intermediate step.

The Kobo app on your computer or mobile device uses entirely different DRM schemes.

You don't need a Kobo device to deDRM books with Adobe DRM.
