Is there a way for me to replace all instances of

with

preserveAspectRatio="xMidYMid meet"
across a bulk selection of epubs that doesn't involve using the conversion tool?

In Preferences->EPUB Output enable the preserve cover aspect ratio setting. Then use the embed metadata tool or the polish books tool to update the covers in all your epub files in bulk.

Yeah, that's the option I'm currently using. I was wondering if there's a way to do a bulk search and replace your of thing. If not, then the modify epub tool was going to be my work around. The only thing is it's going to create thousands of "original_epub" files for me to delete and temporarily clog up my hard drive.
