Troubleshooting Unable to reinstall KUAL after a factory reset!

Hiya,

I jailbroke my Oasis (10th gen) on 5.17, installed KUAL and KOReader, and then later deregistered, deleting the KUAL book.

Since then, I have done a factory reset, updated to 5.18.2, jailbroken again with AdBreak, run the hotfix (in my many attempts to get KUAL back).

Now I am trying to install KUAL, same as before. I put Update_KUALBooklet_c6ac782_install.bin in the root (and have tried with others too) and get either "update error invalid; update has been loaded..." or nothing at all, and can't "update" (i.e. no prompt to do so in the settings).

The method in the docs, where you put the bin in mrpackages doesn't do anything, and doing ;log mrpi gives a white screen, reboots and changes nothing, whereas before it worked and added the KUAL book.

Not sure where to go from here.

Super annoying! Literally had everything installed, then in my hubris I deregistered from Amazon without thinking, and ended up wasting a whole Saturday XD
