Accidentally Bricked My Kobo Touch N905C and Then Formatted the SD :(

Hey everyone,

I think I’ve officially bricked my old Kobo Touch N905C, and I could use some advice.

After about 11 years, I decided to update it — which in hindsight, might not have been the best idea. The update failed, and the device stopped booting. Then I thought maybe I could fix it manually, so I opened the back cover, took out the internal microSD card, and connected it to my computer to try flashing a firmware image.

But here’s where I really messed up — I accidentally clicked “Format” on the SD card before realizing what I’d done. Now the original system image is completely gone.

So… am I totally done here?
Or is there any way to recover or rebuild the SD card using an image from another Kobo Touch N905C?

Any pointers or links to a clean system image (or instructions to rebuild it) would be amazing.

Thanks in advance
