The preview is always blank
Good afternoon. I've installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled, and I've opened various epubs, and in every case, the preview is always blank, nothing is displayed. Even inserting a blank page and typing the classic "hello world" doesn't show anything in the preview. What can I do?

Generally this happens when your video card driver is old and needs updating or if Chrome has dropped support for it.
So first try updating to the latest video drivers supported on your machine. If that does not work, then turn off use of GPU acceleration inside Sigil (as Sigil is not a video game - it has virtually no impact on speeds). To do that: Go to Sigil Preferences -> General Settings -> Advanced and check the box to Disable GPU Acceleration in QtWebEngine. Then save your preferences, and shutdown Sigil and restart it. Thank you so much! It works great! However, I have one more question... How do I change the font size in the preview windows? It's too small, and even changing the size from 16 to 25 in Edit > Preferences > Appearance > Preview, it still looks very small.

Or click inside Preview to give it focus, the grab the zoom slider in the bottom right of the main window and zoom till your heart is content.
