Download metadata viz LCCN

Hello!
I use a library in Calibre to maintain a record of my physical library, typically by scanning in ISBNs using the Add from ISBN option and then downloading the metadata from that information, and it works incredibly well.

I recently recieved a ton of books from my grandmother, and many of them predate the ISBN system. Most do, however, have a Library of Congress number. Is it posisble to have the same workflow with the LCCN instead of the ISBN? I've been striking out on researching a way to make this work so far.

This publication modifies a plug-in for Library of Congress (https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...postcount=1962) You won’t get automatic metadata, but it might help with searching.
