KOReader not saving default page mode

I have also posted this question on the Kobo and KOReader subreddits, but so far no one has been able to help.

I recently installed Koreader on my Kobo Clara Colour, and while I find it is generally a great experience, I am having an issue.

I am reading comics in CBZ and PDF format, and I don't seem to be able to get Koreader to save settings as default.

I want the page mode to be set to "continuous", but it keeps resetting to "page".

I have repeatedly long-pressed on the "continuous" button, and it asks if I want to save this as default, I say yes, but it constantly resets to "page".

Every time I open a new CBZ/PDF or even change zoom level I need to go back to the page settings and switch it back to "continuous".

Am I doing something wrong? I just want it to always be on continuous mode, but it just does not seem to want to save that setting.

Can I manually change the default via a config file or such?

Any help would be great.

“Default” will only work with new documents, that haven’t been open before. If you opened them before, try doing “Reset metadata” in long click menu in File browser (or something close, I might have forgotten) and open it again.

Ah thanks. Looks like it's a known bug.

At least now I know I'm not doing something wrong.
