Exclamation Calbire 8.4.0 Not Opening In Windows 11
I'm here out of a bit of desperation. I've tried everything I can think of, from reinstalling to repairing to running in compatibility mode, but I just can't get the program to launch. No error messages, no crash notices, just does not open.

Found the FAQ that said to run the debug command and post the results here, so here they are. Hopefully, you guys can help me find a solution, cuz I'm stumped.

From the FAQ calibre is not starting on Windows:

If you get an error about a Python function terminating unexpectedly after upgrading calibre, first uninstall calibre, then delete the folders (if they exists) C:\Program Files\Calibre and C:\Program Files\Calibre2. Now re-install and you should be fine.

If chaley's advice does not work, two things two try in this order.
  1. Try running calibre in safe mode
  2. Try running the portable version of calibre
