Kobo Aura H2o 2 edition freeze!

Good morning everyone, a friend of mine gave me a kobo aura H2o 2 edition. The kobo is stuck (written off) on a page of a book. I tried various resets (including holding the power button for 4 seconds, releasing it and pressing it again), I left it charging for almost 12 hours, I connected it to the PC, but nothing, no LED, no sign. I disconnected the battery and then reconnected it, without success. I tried to measure the charge, and it was always charged (4.1 v). I also tried to replace it and repeat the procedures described above, but nothing.
What else can I do? Thanks everyone.

Try holding the power button for at least 30 seconds.

thanks for replying. I followed your advice, but nothing to do. I don't even see any leds turn on

I had that happen to my Aura H2O. I found that it did page turns fine when tethered to the charger. The minute it was on battery only the page froze.

My solution was replacing the battery. I used a battery with slightly different dimensions and 25% higher capacity. Lost the waterproof feature but gained a working ereader.

Remember that eInk is bistable. Once an screen is written, it will stay written with no need for power. Imagine a table covered with discs that are black on one side and white on the other. Flipping the coins takes power but once they are flipped, they will just sit there on the table until the next time they are flipped.
