Calibre Template Editor

HI, I applied this rule to the Template Editor to have my books sorted differently {author_sort}/{authors} - {title}
but nothing change in the final output which keeps being {author_sort}/{title}/{title} - {authors}

Can anybody help me?

I've got Calibre 8.4 on a MacBook Pro

Where are you looking at the books to see a different sort? On an ereader? In a directory on your local hard drive? I tried your template in Save to disk and it worked on my Windows 11 computer.

I did modify it by adding a couple of sublist items to only use the first entry in the author_sort or authors list.

{author_sort:sublist(0,1,&)}/{authors:sublist(0,1,&)} - {title}
