The three objects together size 816 MB, but the program shows 655 MB.

I believe it shows the Largest of the formats (what is usually sent to a device), not the total.

The size column contains the size of the largest format, not the sum of all the formats.

Of course it *can* be done by changing calibre. But that isn't what it does today and it won't change.

If you want the sum of all formats then create a custom column made from other columns and sum the values returned by "formats_sizes()".
