Edit Metadate Issue

Hello all,

I was not sure where to place this.

First off, I love calibre.

Second, Any help that I have needed I have received. So thank you.

The issue that I am having is that sometime when I go in to edit metadata for some books weird thigs happen.

1. I can click on the download metadata button, and it will find the books but then when I click on the ok button after that; sometimes it will close that thing and I have to start over. And sometimes, have to do that several times.

I am hoping that someone can help me with this or if it is a bug, that it can be fixed.

8.3 on Windows and when I use the MDE, Download Metadata did not continue to get a cover.

Is this what you see?

Search the Internet plugin: Google for Images
(Not as exact as the MDE, but can help finding a better or Alternate cover)

No.

After I click on the download metadata button when Editing a book; sometimes it won't open up the information found window. I can click ok, like I would to view covers, and that whole part closes and I have to click the download Metadata button again. I don't ever see an error description or anything.

It also doesn't give a log so that I could take a screen capture to show.
