'open with' arguments
Using single-instance viewer. Want to add ebbook-viewer with --new-instance to built-in 'open with'. Can be done?

Try creating a shortcut to Viewer, and add the '--new-instance' to the Target in Properties and point Open with at that shortcut. Suggest you edit the name and/or change the icon, in calibre not the shortcut.
I have an AdHoc Programs folder in Start menu for this sort of thing. Didn't work, works from command line, works if I use the .lnk directly from a file manager - should have tested with Open with, sorry. Might be my setup. BR Last edited by BetterRed; 04-23-2025 at 12:16 AM. |
