Plato fork by Thataboy, How to add Fonts?

Hi there,

I've been trying out Plato after using Koreader for a while and I enjoy its speed and simplicity. I see a number of fonts in the fork (https://github.com/thataboy/plato/tree/master/fonts), but in the reader I can only select "Libertinus Serif".

Am I overlooking something?

Solved, editing Plato settings.toml, set font-path = "/mnt/onboard/.adds/plato/fonts"

A bit off. When I look at the Plato install on my KLC, there is a fonts directory in .adds/plato which has fonts in it and which I can select from Plato. See the attached image for the fonts on disk and the font select menu in Plato.

Ok, thank you, I will try to add some fonts and report back.

*update* That is the folder I tried adding fonts to previously. I've added some more now, but I can only select "Libertinus Serif".

I've rebooted my device to make sure it wasn't an issue with cache.

I'm not sure how to make a screenshot of my Kobo screen, but I expect you can imagine what a selection box with one font looks like

Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

PS. Your screenshot of the folder does not show the fonts in your selection popup in Plato, what gives?

Ok. I figured it out. Opened the config file, change the following setting:

font-path = "/mnt/onboard/.adds/plato/fonts"

Now it sees all the fonts
