Weird debug behaviour

Not sure if it's just me in my crazy chromeOS environment but I find I can no longer view the calibre debug file.

When I start calibre in debug mode I do get the screen popup saying

Debug mode: <p>You have started calibre in debug mode. After you quit calibre, the debug log will be available in the file: /tmp/calibre-vpv3xetb/tmpf0ystm7l.txt<p>The log will be displayed automatically.

however that directory does not exist, and an lsof searchibg for that directory displays

In fact this change happened between 8.0.1 and 8.1.0

Works but log file ends up in ~/.cache/calibre/calibre-debug-log.txt ; a rather unexpected location, but liveable.

I liked better the previous debug behaviour from version 8.2.100. Also, today I spotted one odd issue where after restarting to see the logs, I saw previous calibre instances still running in System Informer.

Calibre 8.3 on Win10 22H2
