Question Metadata backup?
I apologize if there's an existing thread on this topic. I wasn't able to find it.

I told Calibre to back up the metadata on all of my books, and it seems to be merrily working through all of them. I can see the countdown of books still to be backed up.

But where is it backing that metadata up TO? It didn't ask me for a location.

Backups are taken to an OPF file in the same directory as each book.

Why? It happens automatically whenever you change metadata.

See ==>> calibredb --backup_metadata
