Kindle device not showing in calibre on unraid?

Recently setup calibre on my unraid server and got koreader installed on my kindle. Since calibre runs in a VM the ip it lists for the server is 172.17.0.13, my servers ip is 192.168.0.237. Since i had some ports that were already apart of other containers i had to change the webui to port 8079 and 8181 to 8182. The port on calibre is still 8081. On my kindle im able to connect to the server by setting it up manually. Using the server ip and port 8081. I read on another thread to ignore the IP on the calibre UI (the 172 ip). But now in calibre, i dont see my device in the tool bad. I dont have any devices listed in the ignore list so im not sure why its not showing. any idea how to fix this?
