Thanks, Kovid. I've now deleted the calnotes folder. However, when I restart Calibre (latest version), no books show up. When I go to the Calibre Library tab on top, none of the options there seem to help find the Library . . . quick switch or switch. The folder is there on my computer, and contains all my books, but Calibre can't seem to find it. Nothing happens. Any ideas? Thanks very much in advance.

I now notice that there's a folder inside the Calibre Library named 'metadata_pre_restore.' Should I delete it? Under the 'Calibre Library' tab, it shows my current Library in place at E:\Calibre Library but Calibre doesn't open it.

Create a new calibre library. Switch to it. Then right click the add books button and choose add from folders and sub-folders and then yes to assume all files in a folder are a single book and ten choose the old library location.

Kovid, that seems to have solved all my Calibre problems. Just made another donation. Thanks very much.
