Never delete isn't working for every periodical.

I have my download Delete Downloaded News Older Than set to Never Delete, but I also want to Add Title As A Tag, which means the Keep At Most Option is also set.

The note says that "the settings for deleting periodicals older than the number of days, below, take priority over this setting" but I recently checked and found that this wasn't the case. Calibre was silently deleting issues based on the Keep At Most setting.

Two examples are
TheAtlantic.com (10 issues) and The Mainichi (60 issues)

A couple of exceptions allow the Keep At Most option to save All Issues (e.g.: The Economist and The Atlantic). But the two examples I noted do not offer that option.

Of course, I can set it to a ridiculously high number, but it would be better if Never Delete actually worked.

IIRC what it means is that if delete news older than causes am issue to be deleted keep at most wont save it even if it is set to all issues.

In other words both will cause issues to be deleted, so if you want to keep all issues set delete older than to zero and keep at most to all issues (whichis the default). And all issues can be set for any periodical not just a few of them.

So... I set it zero, and it changed back to Never Delete, which was the setting I had it at all along. The only thing I can think of doing is to turn off "Add Title As A Tag" or set the Keep At Most option to an astronomical number.

EDIT: I don't know why, but Keep At Most doesn't have the option to save all issues for some recipes:

Okay.... I tried using zero in the Keep At Most option too and got the desired result of All Issues. Thanks for your patient explanation
