Kindle pw 4 bricked
 My kindle pw4 is bricked. I was running alpine linux kindle shell using kterm but somehow when i wasn't looking, my kindle restarted and keeps rebooting. It shows kindle needs repair error 2. The software version is 5.14.2 Any ideas how to fix this? Or am i out of options? |

If you connect it to your computer using USB cable does it get detected as a removable storage drive?
If if does create an empty file with filename "DO_FACTORY_RESTORE" at the top of levelling of kindle drive then eject from your computer and press and hold power button on your Kindle for 15-20 seconds, until it force reboots. If it doesn't get detected over USB cable then you now own a Kindle shaped paperweight... |

My computer both Linux and windows are not detecting my kindle….

Oh I managed to get connect to ssh.. I successfully did factory reset and kindle reboots now… Buut I don’t think jailbreak is removed? Some normal features are having errors like downloading books
