kindle browser that downloads pdf

hey, is there a third party browser that can download pdf files? Native browser gives me a message "This experimental browser can not download this kind of file" on Paperwhite

You can't install a different browser on an e-ink Kindle. The browser on those is very limited, and not good at all for downloading anything.

What are you wanting to accomplish?

thanks, I wanted to download pdf files directly by avoiding amazon email service, is it possible?

You need to jailbreak your device and then use Skipstone browser

Necro to update this thread for present-day googlers: if you're running firmware >= 15.16.4 and thus can't install Skipstone, give my patch for the stock browser a try. It lets you download any filetype.
