Name used for storing covers

Hi there,

As far as I know, calibre usually stores epubs with name "title - author.epup" (or author - tile.epub") together with a cover named cover.jpg in a folder.

Today, I noticed that my portable version of calibre (or older versions of it) stored covers with the name "title - author.jpg".

Is there a setting for defining the naming of the cover images?

So far, I couldn't find one. Since the naming "title - author.jpg" is more intuitive for me, it would be a great help to define the naming of the cover files.

Thanks,

McDummy

Cover images EXPORTED (to a folder) may have that name, but INSIDE the library, it should only be as BR shows.
Someone may have forced an Export into the Library.
Running Library Maintenance should raise a squawk about extra files.

USERS snould never copy or edit a folder IN the Library.

You're right, exported covers DO get the name as specified in the Save to Disk template e.g. {title} - {authors}.

I have the options to export covers and metadata unchecked so I've never seen an exported cover.
