Can We Compare Two Different Library Booklists?

Can we list the books in a library and print out or spreadsheet it?
Because I have two libraries of about 1000 books each.
Not indexed. ie. no tags.
So I have to go through them tagging one by one.
If I could find duplicates and remove them it would save me doing the same book twice.
At this stage I have no idea how many duplicates there may be. I've done one library and am now about to start on the second.
I would like to keep them separate because they are much more handleable that way. They're up over the 10 GB mark each.

Add Create catalog to Toolbars/menus

Or enable the All Actions button in Preferences->Look & Feel->Main interface and access it from there at any time.

The Find Duplicates plugin allows you to compare books in two different libraries. In the library your are doing the comparison from, all duplicates books will be marked, so that you can do with them as you please.

The advantage to that approach, is that unlike comparing lists of books, the plugin have algorithms to allow you to match books that have similar—but not identical—titles and authors. For example if the following two books are in separate libraries they will be matched even though author name does match letter to letter:

Code:
Philip K. Dick - Total Recall

Code:
Philip Dick - Total Recall

That's beautiful. Thanks. I've got it going. Tell me will it flag as a duplicate if one title is 'within' another? i.e. lots of my books come with titles with added stuff at the end usually the authors and sometimes another piece in brackets so that we get a title string something like :
"title author/s editor/s (source)" and in a 'completed' library I have taken all that extraneous stuff out and all that remains is: "title".
so now will duplicates still be flagged?
I guess I shouldn't ask I should try.....
