Removing the adds by going offline
Hey,
I saw that after removing your device from your account and performing hard reset all the devices should perform as add-free. It is recommended to use new account during the config process and go offline asap. I do wonder if I could still use WiFi while running Koreader? My idea was to use SSH functionality. Or would I have to disable some services before trying? |

KOReader runs in addition to the Amazon system.
If a Kindle was sold with ads, then the ads come when the Kindle is registered to someone new. Mostly you have to pay to remove ads even on an old re-registered Kindle, which is nasty of Amazon. Greed. |
