How do I turn off active canvas on a kindle scribe?

I have a kindle scribe and have sent myself a pdf form that I want to use while out working next week. It's basically a crib sheet I can fill in while I'm on site. I've sent the form over but the scribe wants to set it as an active canvas, so gives me a box with a tick or cross. When I press the tick, it moves all the text around on my form which completely messes it up. I just want to write directly onto the pdf as it is. Is there anyway to do this?? Can I turn the active canvas off??

Re-send it, but choose "original layout".

Thanks for the reply! Really appreciate that. How would I go about doing that?? I normally send via the send to kindle function on the Amazon website but there doesn't appear to be that option there?? If I send another way do I get that option?? TIA

Have you ever tried pressing the little ">" button that is on the left-hand side of the document title? There you'll find the option in question.
