				koreader: bad text formatting

			Hello,

dunno where to search. With my current book (maybe other), koreader displays badly the text. Often, some words are like "stuck" together. For example, instead of this is correct, it could be displayed as thisis correct. Any idea how to fix that ? This is with latest Kobo Glo hd firmware with latest koreader version. It does not happen in the original kobo reader software. |

You can try increasing the word expansion. Go to bottom menu, 4th tab ("AA").

But some books are just badly formatted and you're better off ignoring the embedded styles and use the default settings instead. You can further tweak them by changing settings and/or applying style tweaks. You ignore the book-embedded styles in the last tab in the bottom menu (gear). |

Thank you for the suggestions. Maybe I am dumb but is Kobo Extended mandatory at all ? Say I want to connect via OPDS from my Kobo, will it have the problem ?

Connecting via OPDS will not have the problem as long as you are downloading ePub. |
