New feature in Calibre
Calibre has a recent feature where a red box shows up on the botton right indicating progress of metadata downloading or polishing books etc. I have no real need for this and find it distracting!. Is there some way to disable this feature?
Thank you mamaijee |

Which OS, I've seen red progress bars on OSX/MacOS applications.
On Windows I see the silver spinning wheel that's been there 'forever' when a Job(s) is/are running. BR |

Now I see, you can change the settings mentioned in the below posts, either in Calibre or on Windows Settings.
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...88&postcount=2 https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...&postcount=159 I prefer to disable the Windows setting. (as for attaching images, when replying you might see the "Go advanced" button, then there is a paper clip icon...) |

Go to ==>> Settings->System->Notifications & actions->Get notifications from these senders->calibre 64bit If you double click on an item you can 'fine-tune'. Quote:
