Help/advice needed to turn a JB Kindle into a digital photo frame
I have a 4th gen Kindle Paperwhite that I have successfully jailbroken. There's some minor screen damage which is distracting so it's useless as an e-reader.
I'm bored and need a project. I'd like to turn it into a digital photo fram but I really don't know where to start. the JB was successful and I've loaded some apps onto the device. I'm trying to learn the bare bones basics of programing in Python. Thankfully. I have AI on my side now and I've got it to write some workable scripts for me. I will need it to stay unlocked with the backlight on permanently. Simple idea - I just want it to change images every 30 seconds fomr a directory on the Kindle. I have a lot to learn... beyond writing a script to keep my work laptop from going into standby I have no clue what I'm doing. I would appreciate some advice on how I get the Kindle to run a Python script and possibly some learning resources to get me started. Thanks. |
