Is there a way to convert books with calibre without adding them to the library? [Leave the file in the source folder]

What David meant was: Yes, but only by using the CLI using ebook-convert.

Read lcpl to epub or pdf in Calibre
Dear Friends,

I found on github the possibility to convert lcpl in epub and pdf. But i don't know how to add the plugin on windows 11 and calibre.

Someone might explain me?

Are you wanting to removing Readium LCP DRM from an ePub/pDF file? That is something you are unlikely to get much help with in these forums.

Or are you referring to a plugin that allows you to use a lcpl license file (equivalent to Adobe's .acsm file) to download an ePub or PDF in calibre (whichever format is specified in the license file. Please note that Leseratte10's lcpl-calibre-plugin does not remove the Readium LCP DRM from the file.

Can you link to that github page? Once you have it in epub you should be able to an earlier version of Adobe Reader that can be uploaded DRM-free to Calibre. I don't have the links to the latter but they're here somewhere in mobileread.
