				MPP stylus on Vision 6

Not sure this will be of use to anyone, but I found my Microsoft Surface pen (same technology and MPP protocol as the Tolino/Kobo Stylus) is recognised on a hardware level by the Vision 6. The software lacks any stylus-specific functions so this is limited to tapping, swiping etc, but it can be slightly easier than using a finger for fiddly operations like text highlighting. Surprised me because the info I found suggested the Vision 6 is like the Kobo Libra 2 in this regard, and lacks the hardware to even recognise MPP pens. It seems closer to a mini Epos3 (or Sage), given it also shares the same CPU and memory. |
